The new ferry terminal provides an alternative transportation as a solution to worsening traffic and commuting problem in and out of Metro Manila. The Terminal considers the needs of travelers by providing amenities for business and leisure passengers and streamlining security. The terminal accommodates passenger flows with convenient and ample security checkpoints; intuitive way finding; common-use gates and ticket counters; and optimized baggage handling and screening systems.
